THE 7 MIRACLES OF JESUS

THE WORKS OF JESUS
INTRO:
Believing in the works of Jesus the Christ is the believing in the creations of God Almighty. For in the beginning was also Christ Jesus, John 1:1 – 4, 10.
1ST WORK:     HE TURNED WATER INTO WINE JOHN 2:1 – 11.
All creative, innovative & imaginary thoughts of Jesus which He wants to bring into reality are always made manifest at His own time and without a waste of time, as it applied to God in the creation of heaven and earth.
Lessons from the first Work
(1)               Jesus and His disciples were actually invited to the occasion John 2: 2.
(2)               The foster mother confidently believed in her son’s efficacious power. Being the very first female believer B/A, Vs 5.
(3)               This work of Christ witnessed the first manifestation of His glory. And also a platform through which His disciples believed in Him the more Vs. 11.
PRAYERS
May the miraculous works of Jesus in our life continue to broaden our heats and open our eye unto believing in Him and loving in accordance to the words in Jesus name.
2ND WORK:    JESUS HEALED THE NOBLEMAN’S SON JOHN 4:46 – 54.
The nobleman, apart from Jesus disciples, the nobleman was by record supposed to be the very first male believer who believed without seeing first the work of Jesus.
LESSONS
(1)               The second miracle work of Jesus vs. 54
(2)               The nobleman believed and received the much desired expectation or result. Meaning that believing is receiving. Vs. 50.
(3)               There is no distant in prayer answering Vs. 51 – 53.
(4)               Command, request, ask, demand or desire from God via Jesus – He will answer Vs. 49 Mark 11:23 – 24, Matthew 7:7.
PRAYER
That the Holy Spirit of God will continue to give us the enablement to believing in Him and to become recipients of His favour all our days in Jesus Name.
3RD WORK:    HEALING THE MAN AT BETHESDA JOHN 5:1 – 47.
LESSONS
1)                  No matter how elongated or endemic our infirmities, difficulties or stumbling blocks may appear; I tell you of a truth. When Jesus appears in such situation. Such infirmity out rightly disappears. Hallelujah!
PRAYERS
That Jesus will continually appear in our situations in Jesus name, so that His appearance will always make us victorious in the end in Jesus name. that victorious testimonies will abound all the days of our lives in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
God being a God of 11th hour – A God of a new beginning.

4TH FEEDING THE 5 THOUSAND PEOPLE JOHN 6:1 – 14.
LESSONS
1)                  Being content with the little we possess brings about multitude increase and unending multiplication (Divine Provision). John 6:7 -9.
2)                  Jesus had compassion on the crowd as He felt they may have been hungry haven being with Him a long time John 6:5.
3)                  Jesus Himself is also a believer. He believed in Himself, His father and His power Vs. 6 – 12.
4)                  No waste of edibles Vs. 12
5)                  The multitude believed Him more Vs. 14 as a prophet.
PRAYER
That the Holy Spirit of God will continue to give us the enablement of being content in the Lord, believing He’ll always be there for us, providing unto us good health, long life, and financial strength in the sinless name of Jesus. Amen.
5TH WORK: JESUS WALKED ON THE WATERS JOHN 6:15 – 21.
LESSONS
(i)                 When He perceived He was to be made an earthly king by compulsion, He ignored them and left for His praying business unto a mountain alone. For most times He likes being alone in order to be observing His communion with God His father on high from whom He sources His power.
(ii)               The great storm of the sea was never a threat to Him. He defiled the power thereof and subsequently walked on such tumultuous water, even to the amazement of His disciples (what a great miraculous work?
(iii)             Such performance brought fear into His disciples, but He encouraged them and they willingly (wholeheartedly received Him into their boat. John 1:12 and they landed safely to the other side.
PRAYER
That the storms of life will never be threat to us, that God will endow us the ability to withstand the challenges of life squirrely, taking away from us the Spirit of fear and weakness in Jesus name. Amen.
6TH WORK: HEALING THE MAN THAT WAS BORN BLIND - John 9:1 -41.
LESSON
(i)                 Most deformities are not rooted/traced from the sin of the person nor his/her father’s sins. John 9:1 -41.  But that the name of God should be made manifested and glorified.
(ii)               That Jesus is the light of the world Vs. 5
(iii)             We acknowledge the technics He applied in healing the blind man. Vs. 6 – 7, 15.
(iv)              He Jesus always works on Sabbath days Vs. 14 (As most pastors also do today on Sundays).
(v)                The blind man suddenly became a believer, preaching the gospel Vs. 31 – 32, 38. And worshiping Jesus whole heartedly (attitude of gratitude).
PRAYER
That God Almighty will continue to imbibe in us the Spirit of worshiping Him without ceasing in Jesus name.
7TH WORK: Raising Lazarus from death. John 11: 1 – 57.
LESSON
(1)               A true believer’s sickness does not in any way culminate unto death. It’s for the purpose of glorifying God. Vs. 3 – 4.
(2)               Even when Jesus & His disciples were in Judea, Jesus knew that Lazarus had died and He decided they should go and wake him from sleep (death). Vs. 7 – 15.
(3)               Every believer will always have a testimony of glorifying God in the end of every adversity. Vs. 40.
(4)               It was the works of Jesus that prompted the Jews (The Judaizes) to believe in Him and subsequently turning to be Christians till date (proselyte) Vs. 45.
(5)               The raising of Lazarus was the last public miracle of Jesus Vs. 54, because both the Jews, the chief priest (Caiphas) and the Pharisees had taken council to slain Him.
